    wasn’t this the lifting body that the fictional “six miilion dollar man” crashed in the beginning of the
    shows or I am thinking of another one of the lifting bodies?

    No, I answered my own question….it was the M2-F2.

    The HL-10 didn’t have its crash until many years later when CMSI / CSC dropped it while trying to install it as a display. Hope they don’t do that to their shuttle.

    That still looks like the one of the three that would fly best, but it didn’t.
