  1. Nice! Osprey is an awesome aircraft, even with its drawbacks.

    I knew 2 pilots that were transitioning to them in the late ’90s and both told me it was so different from rotary or fixed wing that it is surreal to fly.

    I have wondered why the ducted fan engine is not used more. Any explanation a non-engineer could understand?
