Here we have yet another Dem politician threatening Republicans/Trump supporters, apparently actively calling for direct violence. Will it be handwaved away as a “joke,” as so many on the left have tried to do with Swalwell’s threat to use nuclear weapons on American civilian population centers in order to strip the citizens of their Constitutional rights?
And once again we have a link between the gun grabber agenda and the Communist Chinese:
When Netflix released the cringeworthy “Cuties” to critical acclaim from the perverts on the cultural Left, a lot of people decided that they had better things to spend their money on. So now that a whole bunch of people on the right/conservative/sane side of the aisle bailed from their platform in protest and disgust, Netflix releases a movie that apparently tells an important conservative story. It’s conservative enough that the critics have decided to try to bury it.
Good job, Netflix.
The Wikipedia entry on the autobiographical book the movie is based on includes this:
Alongside his personal history, Vance raises questions such as the responsibility of his family and people for their own misfortune. Vance blames hillbilly culture and its supposed encouragement of social rot. Comparatively, he feels that economic insecurity plays a much lesser role. To lend credence to his argument, Vance regularly relies on personal experience. As a grocery store checkout cashier, he watched welfare recipients talk on cell phones although the working Vance could not afford one. His resentment of those who seemed to profit from poor behavior while he struggled, especially combined with his values of personal responsibility and tough love, is presented as a microcosm of the reason for Appalachia’s overall political swing from strong Democratic Party to strong Republican affiliations. Likewise, he recounts stories intended to showcase a lack of work ethic including the story of a man who quit after expressing dislike over his job’s hours and posted to social media about the “Obama economy”, as well as a co-worker, with a pregnant girlfriend, who would skip work.
Huh. I think it might be worth a look. The book, that is. Netflix is no longer on my TV.
Eaglemoss has released information on their “subscription” model of the Enterprise-D:
It’s big, to be sure, at more than 2 feet long. Like other Eaglemoss kits, this thing shows up a bit at a time (four kits per month), taking you a while to amass all the components to complete the full model. Each kit costs about £11 each (doubtless there’ll be a USD $ option soon enough). Which doesn’t sound too bad, until you scroll waaaaaaaay down to the bottom and click on the FAQ and they kinda shyly point out that this thing is composed of 120 separate kits. That’s 120 times £11 which is… £1320, or about $1770. Yikes. Plus it’ll take 30 months for all the bits to get to you.
This Enterprise was first announced nearly two years ago, if it sounds vaguely familiar. Note that the final product does look substantially better than the earlier-shown prototype.
Will BidenHarris undergo the same scrutiny as agents of the Chinese Communist Party as Trump did for Russia Collusion? Don’t bet on it.
Here’s the full speech by the Chinese professor Di Dongsheng where he describes, among other things, the belief that the ChiComs have that they have their own agents in places of power in the US government and major corporations:
Something interesting is the audience reaction. There are a number of instances of laughter as if the man said something funny… but a *lot* of those “funny” moments are “oh crap” moments for Americans reading along.
So is Biden a Chinese asset? The Chinese Communist Party certainly seems to think so. It’s important to keep that in mind when contemplating Bidens policies and choices. Take, for example, his “hell yes, we’ll take your guns” plan on how he wants to treat the American citizenry. On one hand, one might imagine that he wants to disarm the populace simply because he’s an asshole. But on the other hand… a prior Asian power contemplated war with the United States and realized that invasion of the United States would find “a rifle behind every blade of grass.” How Tojo would have loved it if FDR had disarmed the United States the way Biden wants to. Similarly: Biden wants to institute the “Green new Deal.” The GND is blatantly obviously designed to trash the US economy. Who would benefit from that? The Chinese certainly wouldn’t mind if the US because a far less successful competitor economically. The US economy going into freefall would mean the end of the US as a global military power, opening the door for Chinese conquest of Taiwan, the South China Sea, Australia, Japan… Hawaii, for all we know. Where does Biden stand on the USSF? Where does he stand on modernization of US nuclear capabilities? Where does he stand on clamping down on racists and communists in groups like BLM and Antifa who seek to trash major cities and tear the American society apart? In short… how many – if any – of Bidens policies and ideas are opposed by China, or would be troublesome to China?
This reminds me of how Obama was Firearm Salesman of the Year eight years running (and how BidenHarris are at least Ammo Salesbeingofindeterminategender of the Year):
Fr @VictoriaYeage11 It is w/ profound sorrow, I must tell you that my life love General Chuck Yeager passed just before 9pm ET. An incredible life well lived, America’s greatest Pilot, & a legacy of strength, adventure, & patriotism will be remembered forever.
A commenter linked to this in the post about Hollywood a day or so ago. It’s only a few minutes long, and much of it is in some undecipherable weird Moon-man language, but it still results in being four and a half minutes better spent than any time devoted to much of modern woke Hollywood. it’s entertaining, well produced, funny, entertaining, clever, surprising and entertaining. Did I say entertaining several times? Probably because the likes of STD and STP and SW these days are anti-entertaining so it’s refreshing to see what actual entertainment is like.
