USS Enterprise inactivated, CVN-80 named Enterprise
The Enterprise was officially deactivated today. At the ceremony it was announced that the third Gerald Ford class nuclear carrier – CVN-80 – will be named USS Enterprise.

In short, Robertson pointed out two important facts:
1) The world really is really old (related: Bishop Ussher was just wrong)
2) If you claim utter rubbish as fact, people you’re trying to convert – such as your own children – might recognize the rubbish for what it is and extend the knowledge that you are foisting nonsense onto them to *all* of what you are trying to convince them of.
