Done sometime in the 1960’s, this very nice Douglas Aircraft (note McDonnell-Douglas, so it dates from 67 or before) painting shows the interior of the DC-9 jetliner. I’ve always had a fondness for well-executed technical paintings of aircraft… a fondness that I don’t quite have for computer generated art.

This model was created in CAD, so there’s none of that horrible “hey, this ain’t symmetrical” you get with so many resin models. It’s based on the Hawk model, originally released in 1959 at 1/188 scale… but now done in larger 1/144 scale. It’s a substantial model when assembled.
Comes with landing gear and separate parasite fighters.
She often sits on a fence post on the front porch at night. I guess it gives her a better perch from which to glare at me through the front windows.
