If you live in a city that has been run sufficiently poorly, it’s quite possible that you *do* see robberies of stores on a daily basis. But the store employee/owner shanking the hell out of one of the robbers? Kinda innovative.

People dressed like Antifa getting what’s coming to people who act like Antifa? I’m not remotely upset about it.

UPDATE: video enlongered:

FAFO.

The store owners response to “Please don’t let me die, this wasn’t my idea” is comedy GOLD.

A brief documentary about some of the very best of America: immigrants and the children of immigrants using their wits and their rights to defend themselves and their livelihoods from some of the worst of America. They were the very definition of a “well regulated militia.”

There are important lessons here that should have been learned better. Had the riots and looters of 2020 been met with more gunfire, 2020 would have been less bloody, and much more of the blood that had been shed would have been that of people who, well, we don’t need.

Pelosi arrives in Taiwan, vowing U.S. commitment; China enraged

I’m torn. Telling West Taiwan to go pound sand, that the United States can have business and diplomatic relations with whomever we want? I’m all for that. On the other hand, the current administration has shown itself to be so weak and incompetent that the ChiCom junta were probably already itching to start something, and now the administration has given them one more thing to get in a snit over. On the gripping hand, if China pouts and throws a loud tantrum but *doesn’t* actually do anything, they will be in some sense weakened by this.

It has been a number of years since I’ve added much to the Air & Space Documents & Diagrams catalog (https://www.aerospaceprojectsreview.com/catalog/drawndoc.htm). On the other hand, ever since 2014 I have been sending about three documents and one large format diagram per month to Patrons and subscribers… so that’s a *lot* of stuff! But sometime in the near future I will finally add new items to the Catalog: Air *and* Space, Drawings *and* Documents. Included will be a wide variety of things… but for those interested in space, there will be two sets of SSTO design documents.

I have of late been dealing with a number of things… most relevant of which is finishing up the text of my third book. I hope to have it done in a matter of days. That will be when I’ll really get going on releasing the new Drawings & Documents. Patrons and Subscribers will be notified first… and will have the opportunity to get them at a discount. So if this is of interest, keep an eye on the APR blog, the catalog page linked above, or sign up for the APR Patreon/Monthly Historical Documents Program (https://www.aerospaceprojectsreview.com/monthly.htm). Patrons/subscribers can also get any or all of the “back issues” of monthly collections back to 2014.

Thanks!

PS: Covid does not help the writing process. Just a little heads up for those curious.

It’s common enough to point and laugh at crazy furriners carrying out government sponsored acts of terrorism against their own people based on arbitrary and generally insane rules and “laws.” Recently a lot of this laughter has been direction Britainland way, and rightly so. But we should remain vigilant lest the more fascistic of Americans, such as the Democrats, get it into their heads to do the same sort of nonsense here. Because, as we’ve seen from the House recently voting to pass a blatantly and admittedly unConstitutional bill banning the transfer of items in common use, they are more than happy to abuse power.

Moment army veteran is arrested ‘for causing anxiety’ after retweeting meme of swastika made out of Pride flags as force is condemned by its own crime commissioner for the ‘proportionality and necessity’ of its response

I do wonder how many of those police officers actually believe they’re doing the right thing, how many don’t care, and how many are actively opposed to this nonsense. This situation is, of course, monumentally stupid. The dude posted this image:

Which somehow caused someone “anxiety.” Why the police should give a rat’s ass that someone has anxiety, I’ve no idea. How they determine that the anxiety caused by a meme is worse/more legally actionable than the anxiety caused by, say, foreign rape gangs or BLM riots or historic statues being torn down or lockdowns or unsolved burglaries, assaults and murders while the police chase down people who post memes, I’ve no idea.

House passes assault-style weapons ban

It bans the sale and transfer of standard capacity magazines and weapons that are in common use. It’s chances in the Senate are slim, though not nonexistent; Biden will of course sign it. If it gets that far hopefully the Supreme Court will tear it apart before it can foment a civil war.

There were a few Dems who had some sense:

Democrats Henry Cuellar of Texas, Jared Golden of Maine, Ron Kind of Wisconsin, Vicente Gonzalez of Texas and Kurt Schrader of Oregon voted against the ban.

And there were sadly some backstabbers:

Republicans Brian Fitzpatrick of Pennsylvania and Chris Jacobs of New York voted for the bill.

This video is *claimed* to be some sort of official bit of Russian governmental propaganda, extolling the supposed virtues of Russia to get westerners to move there. But it comes off more like satire. When it says “beautiful women,” if shows two pre-adolescent girls. It claims “no cancel culture,” for the same country that’ll throw your ass in jail if you call the current war a “war.” It claims a “rich history,” but fails to mention that that richness is soaked in blood. It’s just *weird.*

Honestly, there could be tears.

Hundreds of thousands of dollars of jewelry, expensive cars, gold, diamonds… and no security? Yeah, that’s thinkin’. I have to wonder if “insurance fraud” might be involved.

Not my religion, but I vaguely recall something about this “God” feller not being all that into bling. Of course, Jesus counseled against making a show out of prayer, so…

This was hardly a unique occurrence, though. Robbing preachers mid-preach seems a popular enough hobby for some.

A few days ago, the House debated their latest gun grab. Starting at about 2:14:22, an exchange is held that lays plain the fact that this bill is monumentally unConstitutional, with Jerry Nadler *proudly* proclaiming that it would ban weapons “in common use.” The relevant part goes on for about five minutes, at which time the Democrats pivot to whining about the border rather than tackling the fact that they are doing something that they *know* is illegal.

Suggestion 1: If you are a lawmaker, don’t make laws that you know are unConstitutional.

Suggestion 2: Don’t admit it this openly.

Bonus round: Democrats lie outright and claim that a stabilizing brace is a bump stock, and are willing to die on that hill.
