    That looks like one of the few times that someone designed a military shotgun right from the ground up, rather than convert a civilian hunting firearm to a military roll.

    of course, the ATF banned it because it isn’t “sporting” enough.

    I’m sorry, but my 3-gun competitions are definitely a SPORT. and this would be a great addition to the sport.

    I’ve been hearing a lot about this gun lately, and I’ve had a chance to talk to a fellow who handled it at the SHOT show in Vegas recently. He liked it!

    I want one, it would be a lot easier than trying to use my Remington 870 in the hallway in my house.

    The reason it is pump action is that a semiauto shotgun of this type would be classified as an ‘assault weapon’ here in California and Kel-Tec wants to sell the KSG in California. It’s possible there are other states with similar ludicrous laws too.

    but i consider the bullup down ejection of cartridge case as a mischief
    because the hot cartridge case can touch the shooters

    Doesn’t the plastic casing serve as a insulator and keep the cartridge case pretty cool?
    You want read about a bad way to eject a hot cartridge case, check out the “singularly unpleasant and alarming” Mars Pistol, which ejected them straight into the shooter’s face. 😀
