Things damn near went completely to Hel on the blog & website last night. A combo of an ill-fated attempt to update WordPress with a simultaneous denial of service attack led to *everything* getting suspended. At least for the moment it’s all up and running again, though adding or editing blog posts is *exceedingly* slow (which was the problem that started all this off).
