Famed and powerful televangelist Pat Robertson has come out against creationism… and for some good reasons.

In short, Robertson pointed out two important facts:

1) The world really is really old (related: Bishop Ussher was just wrong)

2) If you claim utter rubbish as fact, people you’re trying to convert – such as your own children – might recognize the rubbish for what it is and extend the knowledge that you are foisting nonsense onto them to *all* of what you are trying to convince them of.
