Thought I’d post these. Rhino, the program I created the Space Station V model on, has a “make 2D” function, converting a 3D model into 2D diagrams. It can take about an hour to crank out a single view, but that’s a hell of a lot less time than drafting it manually.
In the late 90’s, I’d had plans to put together a “2001 Tech Manual,” but circumstances stomped all over it. I’ve still got the itch to do it, but I suspect that train has sailed.
