While the last few weeks have seen me slowly grind to a halt, with a complete collapse in anything resembling productivity around Wednesday, the Swallows have remained busy and industrious.
And then there’s THIS asshole:
If it’s summer, if it’s the weekend, and if the weather is clear, chances are good you’ll see this feller tooling around the sky, sneering down on us mere earthbound mortals, flaunting his ability to fly…. grrrrrrrrrr….

If you ever get to see that aircraft close-up, it has a really unique feature…it has a pair of counter-rotating propellers on a single shaft on it – one of the few times (maybe only?) anyone has gotten that to work reliably in the US.
When the whole thing is folded up for transport it’s really small, able to easily fit in the back of a pick-up truck.
A really amazing piece of design work overall.
