I was supposed to receive the actual job offer and associated paperwork via FedEx Friday or Saturday, and then leave for MD on Wednesday. As of Monday… no paperwork. I did see the Fed Ex van zip on by down the road, though.

Hey, don’t get too upset.
When my brother was over in Vietnam, my family ordered a 100 mm refractor telescope from the catalog the government sent us, that we got at $100 as a family that had a kid in the military.
It was supposed to show up inside of 60 days.
It showed up 59 days later.
Now, big question of the week… what happens to your cats?
Do they hit the road with you, or does someone else take care of them in your absence?
As to a follow-up to that, can you give us a clue to what the job is?
Historic research? Model building?
