An audio recording of Representative Charles Rangel telling a reporter that he deserves to be protected, but his constituents don’t:

Tell me where I’m wrong: politicians who advocate and vote for disarming the public should not be protected by taxpayer funded armed guards.

“politicians who advocate and vote for disarming the public should not be protected by taxpayer funded armed guards.”
I agree completely. They should live by the laws they wish to impose on us.

It that was the case, Rangel would STILL be guarded by armed guards, they would just be known as Corrections Officers.

I think he’s following the Rosie O’Donnell rule

That’s a perfectly cromulent example of the sort of dishonest rhetoric you get from the gun grabbers. “Oooh, booga booga, guns bad, they can’t help you,” completely ignoring the hundreds of thousands or even millions of annual defensive gun uses in the US. Hollywood and their brainless followers actually believe that the only time a gun could possibly save you from a crime is if you were to plug the assailant. Friggen MORONS.
